Who we are
The takedownstudio.com website is operated by Takedown Studio, 50, chemin de Gaspé, bloc C, local 5, Bromont, Quebec J2L 2N8. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the site or send us a request, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your rights (including under Quebec’s Law 25).
What we collect
We only collect what you give us yourself in the quote form:
- your name, and your company name if you give it
- your email address and, if you wish, your phone number
- your project details: service, product, quantity, date needed, budget, description
- the files you attach (logo, artwork, sketch)
- how you heard about us, if you choose to say
You can also write to us directly by email or phone, in which case we keep the information you give us in those exchanges.
Why we use it
We use this information only to answer your request, prepare a quote, discuss your project and follow up with you. We do not sell it and we do not use it for mass mailing without your agreement.
Your consent
By sending the form, you agree that Takedown Studio may use the information you provide for the purposes described above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the address given below.
Who we share it with
To make the site work, some technical providers process information on our behalf:
- the FormSubmit form service, which forwards the form content and your files to our email inbox
- GitHub Pages, which hosts the site (like any host, it may log technical visit data such as the IP address)
- our email provider, which receives your request
These providers may be located outside Quebec or Canada, which means your information may be processed elsewhere. We do not share it with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
The site does not set cookies and does not currently use an analytics tool or an advertising pixel. Your browser only keeps, on your device, your language preference (FR or EN) and a flag so the home page intro is not replayed. This data is not sent to us. If we add an analytics tool, this policy will be updated first.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as needed to answer your request and follow up on your project, then for as long as our legal and accounting obligations require if a contract is signed. After that, it is deleted or anonymized.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to:
- know what information we hold about you and receive a copy
- have inaccurate information corrected
- have your information deleted or withdraw your consent
Use the form: write to us. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
